Uprights
Uprights are the most primitive fences as they're just a horizontal pole. Although the set-up is simple, it isn't so simple to jump them.
Set it up
You will need two wings, a pole and a second pole if you want the upright look very pro. Just place the pole horizontally on the wings and if you want, place the second pole just behind the first one. You can even add third pole, but too much poles on a low upright won't look pro.
How to ride it
Approach in a punchy canter (with loads of impulsion) and channel your horse through your legs and your hands.
Too easy?
Raise the upright a little bit. Or build a double.
